Paint protection film, or PPF (also called clear bra), is a clear, tough layer that goes right over your car's paint. Think of it as an invisible shield. It takes the rock chips, scratches, salt, and road grime so your paint doesn't, and it never changes how your car looks. Light scratches even heal on their own with a little heat from the sun or warm water. Once it's on, your paint stays protected for years.

Yes. Once it's cured, wash it like you always would. The film actually makes washing easier, since dirt doesn't bond as hard.
No. As long as the factory paint is in good shape, professionally installed film peels off clean with no damage to the paint.
PPF is a physical shield against impacts. Ceramic is a chemical layer for gloss and easy cleaning. A lot of customers do PPF on the front end and ceramic over the top, for the best of both.
